'Henry James Comes Home' — Peter Brooks in conversation with Anne Cheng, Princeton, NJ

Labyrinth Books in Princeton, New Jersey will host Peter Brooks for a discussion of Henry James Comes Home: Rediscovering America in the Gilded Age, Brooks's biographical retelling of James's return to America and ensuing ten-month journey across his native country in the early 1900s, published by New York Review Books last spring. Brooks will be joined in conversation by Anne Anlin Cheng, Louis W. Fairchild ’24 Professor of English at Princeton University and the author of The Melancholy of Race: Psychoanalysis, Assimilation, and Hidden Grief.
