There will be two book launches in Australia to celebrate the publication of the first English language edition of Tawainese writer Qiu Miaojin’s Last Words from Montmartre. The book’s translator, Ari Larissa Heinrich, will be present at each event to discuss the literary and thematic importance of Qiu’s last novel.
