Chloe Garcia Roberts, editor and one of the translators of the NYRB Poets title Li Shangyin, was recently interviewed by Sinovision about her work with the poems of the Late Tang writer. Garcia Roberts explains how she fell in love with the Classical Chinese language while sitting in on a class on Chinese history and literature.
