John Ehle, 1925-2018
We were saddened today to learn of the death of author John Ehle. In addition to writing eleven novels (we reissued The Land Breakers in 2014) Ehle wrote plays, works of nonfiction, fought in WWII, worked for the North Carolina governor Terry Sanford, taught at UNC Chapel Hill for ten years, and founded the School of Arts in Winston-Salem.
